Black Bag Roasters is part of the Nomad Coffee Group - a collective of coffee focussed businesses under the Minor International banner. Throughout our years of operation, we have grown to service the Australian, APAC and international markets. At our roastery and headquarters in Richmond, Victoria, we have the capacity to produce up to 90 tonne of coffee per week across a variety of formats and bag sizes. Our newly opened, state of the art roastery and warehouse in Truganina has been specially designed to produce a further 200 tonnes of high quality, perfectly roasted coffee. Across both sites, our production team utilise state of the art equipment, including Diedrich and Brambati roasting systems and Rovema automated packing lines.

Craig Dickson is a seasoned coffee industry leader with over three decades of experience in the coffee industry. As CEO of the Nomad Coffee Group, Craig is responsible for leading the company's strategic direction and overseeing its day-to-day operations. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its reach and grown its portfolio of premium coffee products, all while maintaining a steadfast commitment to quality and sustainability.

Lance Brown

With a career that spans more than two decades, Lance knows the coffee and hospitality industry inside out. He is equipped with a wealth of knowledge from his previous roles at multinational corporations – National Business Manager for Pura Milk and Dairy Farmers Milk at Bega for eight years, and the Southern Region Manager at Jacobs Douwe Egberts (JDE).

Shane has over 20 years experience sales experience spanning the Australian wine industry, hospitality and most recently in the Australian coffee scene. Managing clients throughout the supermarket, FMCG, Franchise, and International space, Shane has tailored his approach to provide coffee solutions at large scale, as well as provide expert consultancy for businesses and their coffee ambitions.

For over 10 years, Jack has been a key part of the fabric of the Nomad Coffee Group, Jack has built a widespread network, connecting us to coffee farmers from across the globe, and managing the supply chain from crop to cup.

Nick has built a diverse skill set in both the specialty coffee and the commercial coffee industries during his 15+ year career in coffee. Passionate about the world of sustainability, Nick is responsible for driving and maintaining our sustainability directions within the business.

Leo Kavanagh
National Accounts Manager
Leo has worked through all aspects of coffee and the broader hospitality industry over his 20 year career. From barista and trainer through to QC professional, account management and sales, he brings a broad skill set and depth of knowledge to his work.

Pete Licata
R&D Consultant
Pete has 20 years of experience in the coffee industry, with in depth time spent between cafes, roasteries, and coffee farms. He has consulted with companies globally on coffee programs, product design, and skills training. He also enjoys mentoring up-and-coming coffee professionals. As the 2013 World Barista Champion and published author, Pete is well versed in public speaking as well as world class coffee standards.
